Why plan a crochet project?
A simple plan stops a project from stalling. Knowing roughly how many hours a piece takes and how many hours you can crochet each week gives you a realistic finish date, which helps a lot when you are making a gift for a particular day. The checklist breaks the work into steps you can tick off as you go.
Using the planner
Enter the project name, your start date, the total hours you expect it to take, and the hours you can fit in each week. Hours are only an estimate. Time how long a small section takes and multiply, to get a better number. You can add your own tasks to the checklist, and print the plan to keep with your project bag.
Frequently asked questions
How do I estimate the hours?
Time yourself crocheting a small section, such as one row or one motif, then multiply by how many you need. Add time for finishing and assembly.
Is my plan saved?
No. Nothing is stored or uploaded. Print the plan or take a screenshot if you want to keep it.
Can I add my own tasks?
Yes. Type a task into the box under the checklist and add it.
